Alys Beach will host a 2-day wine festival March 3rd and 4th, 2012. Alys Beach is located about 8 miles east of Watercolor. The event raises money for the Children’s Volunteer Network (CVHN). The funds from the event will go to help area uninsured and underinsured children receive medical, dental, and mental health care. Santa Rosa Beach and is reaching out for support of the new center. This is a great cause and a fun event.
Seaside Half Marathon
The 2012 Seaside Half Marathon will be held on March 4th. It ‘s been a very warm winter and we’re hoping it will still be nice by race day. There are over 3,000 people participating this year. It’s a great family event. This is the largest fundraiser for the Seaside School.
