It is the first day of December, and already our quintessential beach towns along Scenic Highway 30A are getting into the holiday season. One of the greatest luxuries about living on this stretch of the Gulf Coast is the close-knit, community atmosphere, especially during the holidays. With holiday markets, photos with Santa, Christmas lights, ugly sweater parties, caroling, and more, there is no better way to enjoy the season. If you are spending December here on the Emerald Coast be sure to check out the variety of events, festivities, and parties to ring in the Christmas spirit.
These are just a are few of our favorites!
GRAYT Holiday Market
The Grayton Beer Company is hosting their annual holiday market tomorrow! If you have not finished your Christmas shopping, this is a great opportunity to find the perfect gifts from your favorite local vendors. You can also enjoy festive craft years to really feel the Christmas cheer.
South Walton Elf Ride
The holiday season is a family affair, just like the South Walton Elf Ride on December 10. Grab the family and decorate your bikes, skateboards, and wagons to walk to the South Walton Fire Station. Not only is this event fun and festive, but also a way to get in the charitable spirit. Each family is asked to bring a gift to donate to make sure every kid in the local community receives a Christmas gift!
Coastal White Christmas
We’re dreaming of a white Christmas…even on the beach! Of course, with our white sand beaches, our dreams will come true. Just like the other beach towns on 30A, Grand Boulevard will be sparkling with holiday lights and joy. From horse-drawn carriage rides, faux snow falls, and other festivities, you wil enjoy your white Christmas in beach style!
With the many holiday events on the Emerald Coast, this is sure to be your most festive Christmas yet.
