Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and if you live on or near 30A, it is almost guaranteed that you are grateful for our pristine Gulf Coast beaches. Am I right? One of the greatest aspects of the 30A beach communities is the variety of events that go on to celebrate the holidays. And Thanksgiving is no exception! If you are spending Turkey Day at the beach this year, join in some of the fun activities that the Emerald Coast has to offer.
On Saturday, November 18 (tomorrow!) head over to Seascape Resort in Miramar Beach to learn some tips and tricks for roasting your Turkey for this year’s feast. This event is free to the public, and there will be turkey for you to sample. Besides the turkey, you can enjoy free wine tasting. Free food and free wine? Sounds like the best way to spend the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
The 30A10k is an annual charity race held on Thanksgiving in Rosemary Beach each year, and it has been ranked one of the top five charity races in America. All race proceeds are donated to selected charity partners. This is a great way to get together with your family and friends to celebrate a good cause and keep in the Thanksgiving spirit. If running is not your thing, feel free to participate in the other activities going on as part of this event, including the post-race mimosa bar.
Of course, Thanksgiving Day would not be complete without a delicious meal of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and everything else on the table. Luckily, there are plenty of places along 30A that offer a great Thanksgiving dinner! Enjoy a perfect meal with family and friends at one of your favorite restaurants on the coast, including Marie’s Bistro, Cuvee Kitchen + Wine Bar, Baytowne Provisions, and Cafe Thirty-A.
With great activities, good food, and an awesome community, Thanksgiving on the beach cannot be beat!
